If you notice a loss of reception over the next week or so it may be due to Mother Nature. Seriously!
The phenomenon, known as “solar fade”, happens twice a year around the spring and fall equinoxes when the sun aligns perfectly with satellites. Basically, the sun’s thermal energy is so strong it interferes with the satellite signal. Given our location and the types of satellites that our systems use, we anticipate that the interference will be strongest during the spring and fall equinoxes.
